milk jug
This beautiful handmade, milk jug is finished with a glossy yellow glaze and two holding dimples.
This lovely piece has a diameter of approximately 4-5cm and a height of approximately 6-7cm. All our work is hand-thrown in our studio in Devon.
Our milk jugs are made from stoneware clay, bisque-fired, and then glazed and re-fired to 1260 degrees centigrade. This makes them dishwasher safe, although as highly robust as with all handmade ceramics, hand washing is recommended.
We aim to make pottery inspired by nature for our customers and help connect them with the natural world. Our careful material selection ensures that each piece carries a unique story. This glaze is part of our moorland range and is inspired by our hometown in the heart of Dartmoor.
As all our work is hand thrown in our own studio in Devon each piece is unique, due to the glaze, form thrown and finish. Each Piece may vary slightly.
We take great care to ensure all our work is environmentally friendly. We recycle all our clay as well as fire in ultra-efficient kilns to reduce energy. Orders are packaged using cardboard boxes and wood wool or corn starch packing peanuts to reduce our environmental impact.
